Elizabeth grew up in a rural community east of Albuquerque, and graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. She received her Master of Public Health degree from A.T. Still University in 2015. Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2018. As a law student she served as citation editor for the New Mexico Law Review and advocated for low income clients through the Southwest Indian Law Clinic. During clinic, Elizabeth took part in the Medical-Legal alliance program and helped train nursing students on informed consent laws in New Mexico. During law school Elizabeth participated in the Williams Institute Moot Court competition in Los Angeles, California, and the Health Law Moot Court competition in Carbondale, Illinois.
Elizabeth was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2018, and practices in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance defense, general litigation, bad faith litigation, and personal injury.
